She wants JESS. She goes on and on what a pretty Hawaiian girlJess is
I told Caroline if she wanted her she better start saving her money. She is such a stinker though and is trying to earn extra allowance from her Daddy. I have already warn him...
She did manage to MAKE me agree to buy Jess's accessories if she orders the doll.
She is only seven so who knows she might change her mind next week. She does seem very determine. As of today she has $11.52 saved.

Ha! Cute! Jess is beautiful, I don't blame her for wanting her...is there a birthday coming up in the near future? That might help.

Well...you could sell one of those Addy's, and put that money in the Jess fund!
My DD saved for her very first doll, Samantha. it only took her a couple of months, at the most. She was doing extra jobs for her Grandparents, us, and finding change around the house! It was hilarious. She was very determined. I think it's great to have Caroline save for Jess, it really makes a doll special. I also think it's fine to "help" her save, too.

HI,
I know what you mean about changing their minds. DD is 8 1/2 and wanted a Ruthie doll. She was saving $ for her & then along came Jess. She thought she would make a cute Ruthie so changed her mind from an AGOT Ruthie to Jess as a Ruthie. A few weeks later & it is all about Lissie. We'll see what she ends up buying.
Hannah is saving her $ to buy her doll too. She started at Christmas and is already up to $67. She had Bday $ that she hadn't spent and she was able to get a headstart. I think it will take her several more months to get the rest & I know she will appreciate her doll after all the time & saving. She only gets $2 allowance & only $1 can be used for her spending (other dollar is for savings & church).
Hope Caroline has fun saving & buying her special doll, whether it be Jess or not.

Good news about DDs changing their minds (which is typical for girls age 7,)..they might 'reconnect,' even after they've lost interest for a while. DD wanted Kit, then she received her for Christmas (this is when she was 7,) and Kit went untouched for almost two years. Now that she's REALLY (age 11 now) into the stories and AG movies, she enjoys Kit (especially changing her clothes and brushing her hair.) Maybe it's why they've extended the age recommendations (now it's to age 12?) for AGs.

Yes, my dd also told me last week that Jess is her favorite. She said that she was the coolest.
Her bday is September, so I'd imagine that she'll get her then if she still wants her or Christmas at the latest.
She won't sell out without us here at HB knowing about it, and I don't think it would be before Sept anyway.
